What the payment buys
The files for one book: the print-ready interior PDF, the EPUB, the cover if you made one, and a twenty-page paper proof.

Questions
Do I need an account or a subscription?
No. The licence is a key, sent to the email address you pay with. Your browser remembers it, so the book opens again on the same computer.
What if I change the book after paying?
Rebuild it from its settings file, and the licence still opens it. Torcul knows a book by its title and author and by its words, so fixing a typo or renaming the book costs nothing.
Does a second book need its own licence?
Yes, a sequel too. If you enter a key on the wrong book, you are told which book it belongs to.
Who takes the payment?
Paddle sells the licence as merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, charges any tax due where you live and sends the receipt. Its name is the one on your card statement.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in full and for any reason within 14 days, until you download the files. Downloading a file ends the 14 days.
After that, if a file we produced is defective, you choose a corrected file or your money back. The terms give the details.
What if I lose my key?
On the files screen, choose Lost your key? and enter the email address you paid with. Every key bought with it is sent there again.
